Sister Karen Brink

The three pillars of Benedictine life are so very important to me. PRAYER sustains me, COMMUNITY supports me, and my MINISTRY allows me to proclaim the kingdom of God.

I came to the Community because of the Sisters who taught me in grade school, all of whom I loved very much. I don’t think I would be here if I hadn’t seen them so very devoted to their ministry. They were happy women.

Throughout my life as a Benedictine, I have been energized by sharing the good news of God’s kingdom among us.

From 2014 to 2026, I was privileged to share my desire to proclaim the kingdom of God and my passion for education in a totally new way — by serving as our Community's Prioress.

For the last several years I have also been serving as the Social Minister at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Ross Township, where I enjoy connecting people to parish and community services that they need.
