  Water Color – Mondays (no class on holidays)10:00 – 12:00
Fee: $8.00/hour + $10.00 material fee

• Wet brush on wet paper
• Wet brush on dry paper
• Dry brush on dry paper
• Paint a picture on thick textured water color paper using learned techniques. Discover shading by overlapping colors and create depth and volume.
• Paint still life, animals, scenes, foliage and/or figures using water colors that are transparent and/or opaque.

Oil/Acrylic Painting – Thursdays (no class on holidays) 10:00 – 12:00
Fee: $8.00/hour + $10.00 (material fee)

• Experience stretching a canvas over stretcher frame. Gesso the canvas (brushing on thick white paint)
• Practice various painting techniques on a canvas sheet.
• Create a painting on stretched canvas. (Purchased stretched canvas is permitted)
• Develop style: realistic, impressionist, abstract, mixed media, your own style
