Sister Donna Wojtyna O.S.B

Sister Donna, a member of the Benedictine Sisters of Pittsburgh since 1962, studied art education and sculpture at Carlow College and Kent State University.

As a self-taught basket weaver and photographer, she experiments with traditional and avant-garde weaves and enjoys photographing nature’s beauty. The love of teaching and her passion for crafts play an important role in her hands-on approach to life.

Sister Donna is available to speak to clubs, organizations, and church groups and is pleased to make presentations at events and retreats. She teaches a variety of workshops at various times and lets the Spirit be the guide in each individual’s basket weaving experience.
