Sister Florence Lynch

I was called by God and by Mary to serve them in whatever way they wished. I am from Pottlereagh Carnaros, Kells County, Meath, Ireland.

When I was about 12 years old and on my way home after being confirmed, something greater than myself kept nagging at me to follow Jesus’ way of life. Our family had great devotion to Mary and to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Our day started and ended with prayer. Ours was a hard-working farm family. Helping the poor was a priority in our lives.

This has inspired me to form an organization called Angels in Overalls which has outfitted hundreds of needy families with furniture and household goods.
