Sister Donna Wojtyna

Hi! I’m Sister Donna Wojtyna and in 2013, I will have been a Benedictine Sister for 50 years! It’s been a wonderful journey – being a sister was always a desire of mine all the way back to second grade.

In my early years in community I taught grade school for 13 years and loved that. My hope though was one day to be able to pursue my artistic talents and God granted me that gift.

So here I am now – since 1980 I have been a Basketmaker and Sculptor. I have a studio at the Monastery and have classes and workshops for “kids” from 6 to 96!

I wear lots of other hats so if you want to know more – just come and visit sometime and let me show you what else goes on in these hallowed halls.
