Partners of St. Benedict

The Benedictine Sisters of Pittsburgh depend on and deeply apreciate the kindness and generosity of all their Partners - individuals, foundations, organizations and corporations - who support their mission by prayer, good will and financial assistance.

All gifts large and small are appreciated and make a positive difference in the lives of the Benedictine Sisters of Pittsburgh and all those touched by their many ministries. (Click for Ministries Page)

Ways to Give

Outright Gifts (Click to Donation Page)
Gifts in the form of cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are gratefully accepted. To contribute gifts of stock, personal property and real estate, for which the Sisters are also grateful, please call the Office of Community Advancement, (412)931-8968.

Planned Gifts
For detailed but easy-to-read information about the advantages of making planned gifts such as bequests, insurance, charitable remainder trusts and charitable gift annuities, please go to www.osbpgh.org/giftplanning. When you make a planned gift to the Benedictine Sisters of Pittsburgh, please notify the Office of Community Advancement, (412)931-8968, so that the Sisters can recognize you as a member of their newly established HERITAGE SOCIETY. Thank you!

Matching Gifts
Many companies match employees' charitable contributions. You can sometimes double your contribution with a matching gift! Ask your employer if they participate in a matching gift program and if they do, they will give you a form to forward to us.

Gifts In-Kind
Goods and Services appropriate to the Sisters and their good works are gratefully accepted. A "Wish List" is included in each issue of BENEDICTINES.

How much should I give?

To a great extent, the success of the partnership effort depends upon the commitment of many levels of giving. For this reason, the Benedictine Sisters of Pittsburgh have structured ways of giving that will meet each individual’s gift level.
