UPMC Health Plan Behavioral Health Services
Sister Shelly Farabaugh is a Clinical Manager at UPMC HP Behavioral Health Services. She works with other nurses and social workers to assist members who need help with Mental Health or Drug & Alcohol treatment. Through the discipline of Clinical Social Work, Sr. Shelly brings her personal and professional values, to empower people, to the work place. The Benedictine values of Peace and Caring are evident in her work with staff who often will ask her to put family or friends “on the community prayer list.” Sr. Shelly, also, enjoys coordinating the community transportation fleet in her spare time. “Is it time for that oil change?”
Sister Michelle Farabaugh works at UPMC Health Plan Behavioral Health Services as a Care Manager. She assists members in accessing Mental Health and Drug & Alcohol Treatment. As a Licensed Social Worker, Sr. Michelle is committed to helping people be their best in body, mind, and spirit. She has almost 20 years experience in the mental health field and finds that work very rewarding. Working at times with individuals and families, she helps people to determine just what will be the best way for them to help themselves. This work is very reminiscent of the saying of St. Iraeneus in 160AD, “The glory of God is a person fully alive.”
