	Sister Judith

Sister Judith, resident manager at Leo Meyer Manor, gives a warm greeting to those who call. Leo Meyer Manor is an independent living apartment complex for Seniors ages 62 +, located in McKees Rocks. There are 44 units in the 3 story building. The apartments provide a safe, pleasant, and accessible environment for independent women and men. A variety of social, religious and recreational activities are offered weekly to the residents by an activity director. The services coordinator provides residents with information about available resources and helps them access the resources. The surrounding neighborhood has a grocery store, post office and shopping plaza.

Sister Judith and her staff work together to provide an attractive, cheerful, clean, atmosphere where people can feel at home. Sister also collaborates with a variety of agencies to enhance the services provided at Leo Meyer Manor. These include but are not limited to: Life Pittsburgh, Area Agency on Aging, Meals on Wheels and several home care agencies.

Linda is the staff member responsible for making the Manor so homey and safe. She works with the maintenance team to be sure everything stays in good shape. Ed is a resident who always does “the right neighborly thing.” Together with Sister Judith, they are truly a terrific trio! Toshi, a resident who is originally from Japan, loves to make flowers and put them in the community room.
