Easter Seals Adult Day Care

Sister Linda Larkman is the site supervisor at Easter Seals Adult Day Care, a program for older adults and adults with disabilities. This program provides the opportunity for adults to stay as independent as possible thereby increasing the time they are able to stay with their families in their communities.

The site offers individual attention and constant supervision, nutritious meals and medication management, quality programs and social, physical and spiritual health activities such as exercise, outings, and pet therapy.

Sister Linda leads exercise routine with seniors at the Easter Seals Adult Day Care Center.

“In my ministry as the Site Supervisor and Activities Coordinator of Easter Seals Benedictine Adult Day Services program, I feel I am very privileged to journey with so many wonderful people at a very special time in their lives. No matter what the event, activity or situation at hand, in most cases, I am shown that they are “present” to the very moment and it is my job to give them as many good moments as I possibly can. What better way can one have to practice living in the “present moment”, as St. Benedict calls us to. I am most privileged to have so many wonderful teachers as our seniors!”
