Sister Roberta Campbell (center) is a teacher at Carlow University. She says: “I teach in the ‘Center for Teaching and Professional Growth’. The Center is a signature program in the School of Education at Carlow. The courses taught within the Center are designed to help Pre-Teachers to assess their strengths and challenges before entering the classroom; the courses assist the student to begin his/her professional portfolio; in combination with the formal preparatory program for teachers, these courses are intended to help Pre-Teachers to look at success in the classroom far beyond the use of textbooks, tests and projects. Like all other faculty persons, I serve on some of the University committees and have students who are my advisees.”
