Sister Evelyn Dettling, OSB joins the Staff of the Office of Community Advancement. Welcome Sister Evelyn

Sr. Evelyn Dettling, OSB

Because the Benedictine Sisters are becoming more involved in both fund raising and in communications, Sister Evelyn Dettling joined Alison Serey, Director, and Sister Jeanne Ubinger, Administrative Assistant, to enlarge the staff in the OCA on January 10, 2011. Sister Evelyn will serve as Development Associate and is excited about the position and all the new learning that will accompany it. She enjoys meeting people and writing. She has been a Benedictine for a good number of years and so she brings with her understanding, love, and experience of the Benedictine way of life. Many people know her as the director of the Benedictine Senior Center. She was the Sub-Prioress of the community for 10 years, worked as the director for the Glenmary Commission on Justice, was a Newman Chaplain at IUP, and taught in both elementary and secondary schools. We welcome her and wish her well.
