Peace Vigil

The 2010 Prayer/Peace Vigil, sponsored by Benedictines for Peace Committee, will be held at St. Benedict Monastery on New Year's Eve. This year's theme is "Peace Through the Baha'i Faith" and guest speakers will be Hal Williamson and Sharon Eakes who are both members of the Baha'i faith. Mr. Williamson is the author of Liberating Greatness: The Whole Brain Guide to an Extraordinary Life. Sharon Eakes contributed to the book. Both are residents of Sewickley, PA.

The Sisters' schedule for New Year's Eve follows. If you plan on attending Vespers and the evening meal, please RSVP by calling 412-931-2844 by Monday, December 27.

Vespers 4:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Evening Meal 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Private Reflection 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Peace Vigil 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Light refreshments will be served following the Peace Vigil.
