Welcome, to our summer intern!
She currently serves as treasurer for the Public Relations Student Society of America, as well as Lambda Pi Eta and serves as a member of Slippery Rock University’s Communication Department Program Committee. She will be assisting our director of Community Advancement, Alison Serey, with managing communications and marketing strategies. A little about myself…. So far, at the age of 20, I’ve lived a pretty ordinary life. I grew up in Wilkins Township and have lived there my entire life. My parents and I have always had at least one pet. As an only child I appreciated their company and considered them siblings, sparking the strong interest I have in animals today. I currently enjoy having two cats Scooter and Sammy, and a dog Ferguson to keep me entertained. I have found joy in many different activities beginning with dance, which even today remains one of my strongest passions. Growing up, I was also involved with Girl Scouts, soccer, gymnastics, swimming and playing the flute. With my involvement in these activities I’ve formed life long friends. My closest group of friends and I have known each other since Girl Scouts at age seven and have continued on to other mutual activities such as swimming, dance and concert band. I stayed involved with these activities throughout my years at Woodland Hills High School and continue to enjoy these activities. I'm very grateful to have this opportunity to work with the Benedictine Sisters of Pittsburgh. I look forward to getting to know the Sisters and to learning more about communications and marketing.
